FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DUBLIN HAS BEEN A VITAL PART OF THE COMMUNITY SINCE FIRST ESTABLISHED IN 1882. THE RICH, TRADITIONAL HISTORY HAS MERGED WITH CONTEMPORARY INNOVATIONS TO ALLOW GROWTH AND DIVERSITY WHILE KEEPING THE VALUES OF A PIONEERING CULTURE. THE ORIGINAL CALL CONTINUES TO SOUND: GATHER FOR WORSHIP AND THANKSGIVING, ANNOUNCE CHRIST TO THE WORLD, AND SERVE OTHERS.
THE COMPLEXITY AND NOISE OF OUR SOCIETY OFTEN FADES, BECAUSE IN DUBLIN, PEOPLE COME FIRST. FAMILIES, FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, AND VISITORS SHARE IN JOYS, ACCOMPLISHMENTS, SORROWS, AND DISAPPOINTMENTS. YOU WILL DISCOVER A CHURCH COMMUNITY THAT IS DEVOTED TO WHO THEY ARE, WHO THEY SERVE, AND WHO THEY CAN BECOME. YOU ARE INVITED TO MEET US AND EXPERIENCE OUR FRIENDLY HOSPITALITY. THE GREETINGS OF “WELCOME!, COME RIGHT IN!, WE ARE SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU TODAY!" ARE VOICED OVER AND OVER WITH HEARTFELT SINCERITY.
THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DUBLIN WELCOMES YOU TO ENTER INTO A JOYFUL FELLOWSHIP WITH US. THERE IS A PLACE FOR EVERYONE. THE ABUNDANCE OF GOD’S LOVE ABIDES HERE AND SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE IS GENUINE. TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT, REACH OUT, JOIN IN SERVICE, AND FIND A CHURCH HOME.
PRAYER REQUESTS MAY BE MADE ONLINE OR IN PERSON. PRAYER OPENS THE DOOR TO A PATIENTLY AWAITING HEAVENLY FATHER. IF YOU DESIRE ASSISTANCE WITH PRAYER OR OTHER CONCERNS, PLEASE LET US KNOW.
MANY BLESSING TO YOU, PASTOR KENNETH LUNSFORD
